So who would have thought it, the richest club owners in Europe want to fuck off from their respective leagues and start a league of their own, with no relegation it would appear too.
Well if I’m honest, I say let them, it’s wrong on so many levels, it’s a disgrace to the fans of the clubs, who lets be honest, nobody expect the fans really and truly gives a fuck about the fans. So if they want to go, let them, and good riddance, shut the door on your way out you greedy set of cunts, although without them in the league there is only one way for domestic football to go and that is down.
The poor hard working sods who save up and work their arse off all week just to be able to afford to go to a game on Saturday, those are the ones truly affected.
Yes if you are in Europe you may get the chance to go away from home to support your club to a nice city in Europe. But now your away league games are dotted all over Europe, which your average fan, that once again, nobody except for other fans cares about will not be able to afford to go and watch them.
What’s really laughable is 6 teams from the Premier League are among the 11 believed to have signed up. Over a quarter of our top flight. But Arsenal and Spurs want in do they? What right have they got to be in that League? I’m sure your average shouty fuck from Arsenal fans tv, or the Spurs equivalent will be able to find some argument. But they belong in that league about as much as Everton would.
Leicester and Blackburn hold more claim to be in the Super League than Arsenal and Spurs, actually I’m getting ahead of myself, nobody deserves to be in that sham of a league.
Here’s an idea, if you do well in your respective leagues, imagine there was a competition you could get a place in based on your league performances, and play against the other top teams from the other leagues in Europe and at the same time not cripple and ruin leagues you left behind.
The top 6 in England hold all of the power, make no mistake that every single little decision will absolutely get run past them first, something like this had been brewing for years, first of all it was the bigger clubs wanting more of a share of the tv money, then it was project big picture, remember the outrage that caused and was forgotten about, well this is just one instance of many that the top 6 have tried to make themselves that little bit more powerful.
Greedy bastards will always be greedy bastards, no billionaire gets to where they are without screwing over a few little guys, that’s just facts, and in this analogy, Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham are the greedy bastards and every one of the other 86 league clubs are the little guys.
It’ll make Liverpool fans even more unbearable than they already are, a smugger set of fans in its majority I do not know. Their feeling of entitlement will only grow, and us fans of “smaller” clubs will be treated even more inferiority than we are already viewed.
La Liga without Barcelona and Real Madrid isn’t sustainable, Serie A without Juventus and Inter Milan isn’t sustainable, and the Premier League without the 6 teams reportedly who have signed up isn’t sustainable, the fact that they all claim to be for the fans has been proven to be utter bollocks yet again, I know I keep bleating on about fans, but they’re going to be the ones who ultimately miss out.
Already widely condemned but if this goes ahead it’s a fucking travesty, what would then be the point of Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup, and what would the point in trying to hard to get into the Premier League in the first place?
I wrote before about the new Champions League format, and how that was just about money, and diluting a great competition, but this really takes the fucking biscuit, what purpose does it serve other than to aid the rich in getting richer and the poor in getting poorer, the big boys trying to oppress the little ones. So in short. Fuck Arsenal, fuck Tottenham, fuck Liverpool, fuck Manchester United, fuck Chelsea, fuck Manchester United and fuck Tottenham too.
The clubs wanting to break away should immediately be punished by the League, although they’re too chicken shit to do anything about it, and maybe if they were punished they’d think twice before trying to monetise and ruin to sport that should be for the many and not the few, not for the super rich only, but for average every day Joe’s who only invented the fucking game in the first place.
