Fuck YouTube “Boxers”

This one has been bubbling away at me for a good few months, it really gets me going. YouTube boxing is bollocks and I can’t stress that enough, it’s bollocks, and diminishes the hard work real boxers do, it sends the message that boxing is easy and something you can pick up and put down as these clowns see fit.

It takes the vast majority of boxers years or grit, sweat, hard work and sacrifice to a reputation and a following in order to get title shots, have enough money to lead a comfortable life, all these things the general public doesn’t see, delivering tickets, going around to sponsors and chasing money.

Yet some prick with a following on YouTube for doing essentially fuck all, can headline a PPV show, which is something very few get to do, it can change your life, and these frauds can do it at the drop of a hat in a place where they don’t belong, imagine how sick you’d feel if for instance you were a few fights away from a big fight or a title shot, yet these cunts can go straight to big money shows, with big crowds, they want to do it I believe because they have an inferiority complex, and need to do something to make them feel like more of a man, instead of insecure little bitches. If you can’t tell, I despise it.

The enter the boxing world as if anybody can do it and get to the top, without having to put in an ounce of work, I can’t tell you how wrong it is, Billy Joe Saunders fought on the undercard of KSI v Logan Paul, a two weight world champion was the warm up act for two talentless fucks.

The Paul brothers being amongst the worst offenders, calling out anybody under the sun to try and get a bit of clout, like they have a future in the sport. I hope they both decide to fight a real boxer and get flattened. It got me thinking of comparisons in other sports and I came to the conclusion that in footballing terms it’s like the bellends thinking they can play in the premier league, then charging people to watch them play 5 a-side.

It massively devalues boxing, like it’s a joke, I despise it just as much as I do the over the hill boxers doing exhibition bouts, don’t ruin your legacy, it’s not worth it.

The sooner this trend dies, and these nancy boys find something else to focus on the better.

Cheers, the fat man
